When I’m not working, I enjoy painting, drawing and playing tennis with my family.

Leadership
In the past six years I have worked hard on my leadership skills. I successfully completed a two semester leadership program (President Leadership Academy) at Southern Utah University. I read many books, listened and paid close attention to the needs of my team and tried hard to provide them with what they needed to be successful.
Teamwork
I have always been very supportive of team work through my whole career and I have worked with a talented team of storytellers, writers, designers, photographer, videographer and student interns. I successfully executed many projects that involved other offices and teams through collaboration and teamwork.
I also have many team projects assigned to my students to encourage teamwork and collaboration.
Organization
As a manager and supervisor, I heavily rely on my organizational skills. Project management, team work and collaboration can’t be done right without strong organizational skills. Keeping track of many projects that I oversaw as well as the time that I need to spend with the team have always helped me grow as professional leader and manager. I utilized softwares like Asana and Basecamp in the past for project and tasks managements.
My Experience
For the past thirteen years I worked doing what I love, as a Web Designer, Graphic Designer, Design Supervisor and Director of Creative Service within Marketing & Communication field. As part of my leadership role, I have directed many marketing, promotional and brand awareness campaign with successful execution and outcomes. I earned a leadership certificated after successfully completing a two semester program offered through
“President’s Leadership Academy” at Southern Utah University.
I have extensive experience working with Adobe Creative software in many areas of design like Web, Print and Brand Identity & logo Design.
Through many years of experience, I found the best way to communicate a message to the targeted audience is by
telling compelling visual stories and using design as a powerful tool to do so.
Graphic Design Faculty
I am currently teaching design & production methods within the College of Fine Arts and Production at Grand Canyon University.
I started teaching at Southern Utah University, Communication Department after earning my Master’s degree in Professional Communication. I have taught Graphic Design Projects and Speech & Presentation courses for several years. I have a strong commitment to student’s success and love watching them grow their creative skills as they get ready for the competitive job market!
Director of Creative Services
As part of my director and leadership role at Southern Utah University, I focused on visual quality & consistency of the marketing and advertising content as well as maintaining and protecting the school brand. I oversaw many design, photography and videography projects and lead the creation of visuals for many marketing campaigns. I lead a talented group of photographer, videographer, graphic designer and student interns while making sure projects get completed successfully within the planned timeline.
Print Design
I have created and managed many print productions like brochure, flyer, magazine, booklet, poster, banners, billboards and large bus & truck ads.
Web Design
I have many years of experience designing and refreshing the feel and look of main web pages of Southern Utah University’s web site in the past ten years as part of my designer role.
Brand Identity and Logo Design
I maintained and protected the brand identity at Southern Utah University for many years. Brand Identity and logo design is one my favorite areas of design. I created many logos and worked on supportive collateral design for the past ten years working at SUU.
